The stay was quite enjoyable, especially the beautiful views and the well-maintained grounds. I appreciated the local cuisine offered at the restaurant. the variety was impressive and the food had great flavors. The location was ideal for exploring the stunning backwaters. However, I encountered some communication issues with the staff that left a bit of a sour taste. Overall, it was a pleasant time relaxing in a lovely environment.

The Lake View Deluxe Room offered breathtaking views of the backwaters. Waking up to that scenery every morning felt like a dream. The food was a delight, with local dishes that truly captured the flavors of the region. Fish curry packed a punch! Staff members like Sandhya, Vishnu, and Prashant made the stay even better with their warm hospitality. Common areas, especially the gardens, were well-kept and inviting. Relaxing by the pool was a treat. On the flip side, arranging transportation became a hassle. The taxi fares felt steep and unclear, which put a slight damper on things. A little more help with getting around would’ve been appreciated.

The culinary thrill at Uday Backwater Resort was a blast, featuring the best local flavors like spicy fish curry that could make your taste buds salsa! Our Lake View Deluxe Room was pure paradise, with a stunning view that made each sunrise feel like a postcard. Plus, the staff were champs, especially Sandhya, Vishnu, and Prashant, making us feel right at home.
Now, on the flip side, arranging taxis felt like a bit of a hustle. We paid 700 rupees from the train station to the resort, then 1200 rubles for the reverse trip, a tad steep! Not sure if it was the hotel’s doing or the driver playing tricks, but it definitely put a dampener on the fun vibes.

Family getaway not to skip!
We had a wonderful stay at this place. One evening, my kids were thrilled to see the rabbits and geese on the hotel, I mean, their faces lit up like it was Christmas! I must say, the backwater view from our room was killer, every morning felt like we were living in a postcard.
It wasn’t cheap, but it was still acceptable.

Stunning views and great vibes!
Had a fab time chilling in our lake view deluxe room! Super friendly staff, especially those at the restaurant. Breakfast was a feast of local dishes, and the kayaking experience was unforgettable. Only wish the prices at the spa were a bit more reasonable. Still, it was an awesome stay overall!
